What successful strategies do you implant for doing SEO for a website?
There is no one size fits all solution when it comes to ranking a website in Google. However the principle of increasing a website’s visibility in search engines especially Google is the same if you use different tactics.
You must focus on two important aspects:
- Focus on keywords which generate sales for your business: Don’t optimize your website for useless keywords. If everybody is ranking for them that doesn’t mean they are profitable. Find profitable long tail keywords or phrases which generate sales for your business.
Login to your Google search console, click at “search analytics” fetch highly converted keywords which got clicks, then optimize them for your money website.
- User intent:Your product or service must solve a problem if it does have this quality, you won’t need to spend much money on advertisement. Your product or service sales for itself with a little bit of sales tactic.
How vital role does Social Media Marketing play in SEO? Can you give some quick tips to our readers regarding Social Media Marketing Dos and Donts?
Social media marketing and SEO should be combined in order to give results. You should have a specific strategy in your niche in order to boost brand and sales. You should also understand what works in a country if you’d like to run your business in a targeted country. For example: if you wish to expose your brand in a German market, don’t use American color psychology and Americanized sales pitch, they won’t work. You should learn what works in German market or vice versa. This is very important for those who want to become market leader in their niche.
Many Chinese companies have problem with landing sales in Europe, they think by translating their ad in English and using American slangs, they can attract Europeans. This is why Chinese products won’t sell much in Europe. It’s not about knowing a language; it’s about understanding the psychology of emotional response in a country.
I have been moving companies from country to country and making them successful in businesses for eight years. Based on my experience knowing the language is not enough, you should understand what works in a country and how your product or service solve a problem in that country’s niche market. If your product is the same as what their national providers are offering, I don’t recommend entering the new market. Because you lose money and your product will fail.
If your sole intention is to increase sales on social media, you won’t sell. Be yourself and enjoy the ride. See what the trends are on social media and make sure to engage with people within your niche on Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus.
Some social channels work better than others, so you have to find out what works for you and your business. If you dislike being on social media, then hire a social media account manager.
A company without a social presence is not serious in business. We don’t deal with companies that are not on social media. Make sure to update news about your company on the most important social media sites such as: Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, Pinterest, Linkedin and Youtube.
Today Twitter search is more important than Google, because you find out news about the company right away. Unfortunately Google doesn’t index a company’s news on their website fast enough. This is why Google is not a reliable search engine anymore. It is also easy to manipulate Google. While Twitter and Facebook search show news and updates about companies in real time. This is why 1/3rd of the world use Facebook on daily basis. This is a huge number compared with Google search.
I explained more about multilingual digital marketing in my book 4th edition.
